Ministry Teams

This team includes Greeters & Connection Centre attendants who turn the overwhelming experience of entering an unfamiliar place into a welcoming first impression for our church guests.

This team welcomes people as they arrive at the building and facilitates connections when people are new to Trinity. They also direct families with children to register kids for Sunday school, hand out welcome gifts, and program information.

The Hospitality Team facilitates community, connection, and spiritual care through food-related ministry. They are responsible for planning, preparing and serving, for the social events taking place at Trinity. 

This team is divided into 3 sub-teams: 

- Coffee & Connection Team (Sunday Mornings)

- Funeral Team

- Meal Train

The Men's and Women’s Ministry strives to support spiritual and emotional growth of the men and women in the church through planning and organizing events, providing resources, and promoting retreats and conferences. This team is committed to inspiring men and women to strengthen their relationship with God by connecting with a community of brothers and sisters in the faith.

This team supports the students in Grades 6 through the end of high school. They dedicate time, love and energy to foster the personal spiritual growth of the teens at Trinity. Their main mission is to lead the youth to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior, empower and equip them to be Christian examples and leaders everywhere they go, and to build fruitful relationships as their mentors.

This team is responsible for planning and teaching Bible lessons, facilitating worship and prayer, and planning crafts and activities for our Trinity Kids Program.

This team's main desire is to create opportunities for children to praise and worship God as well as learn about God and come to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.

The Nursery Team seeks to aid in the spiritual development of children under the age of 2 through biblically based creative play and activities during Sunday morning worship. 

The Prayer Team seeks to foster a culture of prayer in the life of our church recognizing that  prayer undergirds all that we do. Members of this team are responsible for facilitating corporate prayer gatherings, ministering during our Sunday morning services, and providing training for our church in prayer ministry. 

The Missions Committee promotes the work of the missionaries we support, facilitates prayer for them, connects with them, and coordinates opportunities for them to speak at Trinity. They also oversee the church’s missions budget to support missionaries and missions projects.

The Outreach Team facilitates events and initiatives that aim to share the gospel and build meaningful relationships with unbelievers in our city. They also seek to prepare and equip the church to be effective, Spirit-led witnesses of the gospel of salvation of Jesus Christ. They seek to do this by providing church members with regular opportunities for evangelism and community connection.

The Alpha Team facilitates the Alpha course once per year, seeking to draw unbelievers to a personal relationship with Jesus. This team is responsible for setting up the basement for meals, preparing and serving meals and participating in the discussions that follow the videos. 

Vacation Bible Camp (VBC) is an action packed week of Bible lessons, drama, songs, games, and crafts for kids in JK to Grade 5. It provides a unique approach to learning the Bible and retaining an understanding of godly principles presented in the Word of God. VBC fosters an environment for early spiritual growth, produces a great opportunity for outreach, and gives members of the Trinity Church a greater opportunity for fellowship. 

Members of this team are responsible for running VBC stations, preparing and serving snacks, planning crafts, organizing games and supervising groups of children.

Our worship teams facilitate times of praise and worship on Sunday mornings and during Prayer Nights, with each member of the teams serving with the musical gifting God has given them. Our worship ministry teams seek to discern the work of the Holy Spirit in each worship service and follow the Spirit’s lead both musically and spiritually. Our utmost motivation and desire is to develop a culture of worship that extends beyond Sunday mornings, and to encourage our congregation to enter into God’s presence feeling free to worship Him in Spirit and truth.

The Tech Team manages the audio and video equipment to meet the needs of the Sunday morning gatherings. They also oversee the online streaming of services, recording of messages, and buying needed equipment as needed. This team works closely with worship leaders, musicians and preachers, ensuring all audio and visuals are executed with excellence.

This team is responsible for the beautification of the church. They are responsible for preparing the sanctuary for celebrations like Christmas, Easter, Palm Sunday, Advent, Pentecost, Thanksgiving, and Communion.
