The cool thing is that Jesus is in each of our social bubbles. We want to encourage our Trinity family with some practical ideas to stay Spiritually active on a consistent basis. Think of it as things to do with Jesus in our COVID bubbles.
Additional information, links, and documents needed for some ideas
How are you staying Spiritually active? Did you try something new? How did it go?
Is there a Spiritual exercise that you enjoy that you think others might enjoy trying?
You are invited to join the Trinity family on this journey. Watch this short video to see what this campaign is all about. We are exciting to embark journey together.
We are letting the Book of Mark guide us as we journey on this campaign together. We'll be reading through Mark a chapter or two per week until Easter. Here's an excellent overview video from The Bible Project.
Mark Chapters 15 & 16 - The final week of the campaign, but not the end. It's the week leading up to Easter, which is often called Passion Week. Jesus showed his passion for us by enduring the cross. How might we show our passion for Him?
Mark Chapter 14 - Prayer is something we can all do. No matter what our experience has been, we can keep learning and growing. Let's follow Jesus example this week to watch and pray.
Mark Chapter 13 - We don’t know when God will do everything Jesus talked about, but we are confident that He will do what He says. How’s your self-confidence? Let’s pray with confidence this week (and always) trusting God in all things.
Mark Chapters 11&12 - Thank you for staying Spiritually engaged! It's week 9 of our campaign and our theme is love. Do you love yourself? How might you love your neighbour? Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ!
Mark Chapter 9 - For our seventh week in the Jesus Is In My Bubble Campaign, as we read through Mark Chapter 9, Pastor Cerena invites to how might God transform us from the inside out?
For week 6 our theme is the Heart. How might we guard our hearts this week? How might we find healing for our hearts? Andy gives an intro and a close up look at everything for the campaign at trinityemc.com.
Mark Chapter 6 - It’s incredible what God can do with so little when we want him to do it for his Glory. What is something in my life that will take a miracle to happen? What are my 5 loaves and 2 fish that God wants to multiply for his glory? Let's continue to meditate on just how awesome God is, he is our waymaker, miracle worker
Mark Chapter 5 - We see Jesus raise a young girl from the dead. The cool thing about this passage is not just that Jesus brings the girl back to life, but that he also has a message for us - that we do not need to fear that Jesus isn’t big enough. "Don't be afraid; just believe" (Jesus)
Mark Chapter 4 - As we move into the third week of the Campaign we’re going to be reading Mark chapter 4. Obedience is our theme for this week. Let’s consider questions like: What are the storms inside us that we need to let God rebuke? How have I been disobedient to God? How is being Obedient to God exciting? If we want Jesus to use us, we need to be like the wind and the waves and do exactly what HE tells us to.
Mark chapters 2&3 - In the early stage of Jesus’ public ministry, word of Jesus’ teaching and his healing ministry spread far and wide and people came from everywhere to follow him. Following is our theme for this week. Let’s explore some questions like: What does it look like to follow Jesus? How has the pandemic affected following Jesus? Are we following Him? Where is He leading us?
Mark Chapter 1 - Mark begins with the proclamation that Jesus is the Messiah and then the first recorded words of Jesus are, “The time has come. The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” How am I Following Jesus?
